As an advisor, I have found a deeper meaning and fulfillment in what I do, which is to help secure and change the lives of others.
In my growing years, I have lived a comfortable life. My parents have provided my needs and even "wants". My dad was the breadwinner and my mom was a housewife. . We were living our lives as if there's no tomorrow. It has never dawned on us the what if's of life.
What if life is short?
What if life is long?
So if my dad suddenly passed away when I was still young, what would have happened to us left behind? We would have sold everything. How soon can we liquidate those things? A week, a month, a year? How will we grieve and take care of my dad's funeral, if we don't even know how will we get by the next day?
Not until I had my own family and kids, that I have realized the importance of Financial Planning.
Gratefully, I was introduced to Greatway in 2022. I first became a client, then was interested to being an advisor--initially for my own self-knowledge and development. I then began working part-time in the business, and have found the joy of limitless learning and serving families through financial strategies.
Being a newbie in this industry, I may not possess the highest skills of a good salesperson, or the charisma & personality of a typical advisor, but I am proud to say that I embody the passion to help people...and that's what drives me to never leave a family unprotected.
